The members of the Bay Metro Officials Association are proud to be able to provide an opportunity to a member of a school that we serve. The association provides a scholarship to a college of the winners choice. The money for the Kenny VanSlyke Award is through the Great Lakes Loons Fundraising.

I just wanted to thank you again for attending our assembly last night and for choosing our school for this scholarship. It is a great honor for us and I know that David was very surprised. We have the plaque displayed in the main office windows until the end of the year and we will move it to our trophy case for the 2010-2011 school year. I received many comments after the assembly about your presentation and how moving it was. I hope the message was heard by all of our seniors, not just the one standing on stage with you. Thank you again!
